No more Miss Squeaky Clean! Selena Gomez sports a basketball vest over a bikini as she strikes sultry magazine cover pose

She made her name as a Disney star and until recently was the girlfriend of squeaky clean pop star Justin Bieber.
But it looks like Selena Gomez is now embracing a more adult image, if her new cover of Nylon magazine is anything to go by.
The 20-year-old showed off her slim figure in a fringed basketball vest, over a bikini, teamed with a black cap and colourful bracelets.

The star was talking about her new adult-themed film Spingbreakers, where she plays a college student who end up in jail and then persuaded to help a crook (James Franco) in his murky world of drug and gun running.

 

Selena, who jetted out of LAX on Wednesday sporting sunglasses, a leather jacket, jeans and fringed scarf talks about her friendship with fellow star Taylor Swift in an accompanying interview with the publication.
'We both experienced the same things at the same time,' she says. 'But we've never once talked about our industry. She just became the person I'd go to for an issue with my family or boyfriend. It's so hard to trust girls, so I'm lucky to have her.'

Speaking before the Bieber split, Selena also coyly mused on her relationships and love life.
'I'm having fun,' she said. 'At the end of the day, love is such a normal thing, and everyone deals with it. Just because it's a different lifestyle doesn't change the meaning of what I've been raised on, which is fairy tales.'

Meanwhile, the star has been linked to Australian actor Luke Bracey with a report in Us Weekly, claiming she was spotted getting 'super close' and 'holding hands' with the actor at the CAA Golden Globes afterparty last weekend.
