'She's brought sunshine!' Miley Cyrus soothes her heartbreak over tragic pet by adopting an adorable new puppy

She was heartbroken when one of her pet dogs killed the other.
But Miley Cyrus looked back to her old self as she smooched her adorable new puppy, Bean on Thursday.
The canine connoisseur could not resist letting her army of Twitter followers know about her acquirement of the animal.

It follows the tragic death of her dog Lila last month, who was killed by her fiance Liam Hemsworth's bulldog Ziggy.
Ironically the latter was a gift from Miley, 20, and he has since been sent to an animal shelter for placement in a dog and child-free home.
Miley, who was said to be distraught at losing both her dogs, tweeting: 'Meet Bean.
'Bean is a little girl. She is a chihuahua mix of some type.
'She brought so much sunshine!!! I love my little bean so much.'

She adopted the pooch from the Spot! Pet Boutique in Los Angeles, no doubt hoping to fill the hole left in her heart following Lila's death.
The Party in the USA star was so upset at the death of her favourite Yorkshure Terrier she dedicated her performance on the VH1's Diva concert to her.
Afterwards she tweeted: 'Feeling connected to my baby girl Lila after tonight. I know she's up in doggy heaven proud of her mommy for staying strong.'
However she had also often let her fans know how depressed she was about what happened.

Her mother Tish even out about what happened saying: ''Miley loved Lila more than anyone can imagine.
I know some people were saying it's JUST a dog, but to Miley she was so much more.
'The way that Lila was taken from her was beyond terrible. Sometimes things happen that we just can't understand.'

Tish also revealed how the animal had come to a grizzly end.
She said: 'For some unknown reason, Ziggy grabbed Lila. Not really sure if she was playing or what? She grabbed her in just the wrong spot and Lila didn't survive.'
Miley, who has owned five dogs, was spotted seeking solace in the company of her Alaskan Klee Kai in the immediate aftermath.
