It seems Selma Blair does all her own stunts - at least in the playground.

The actress had an afternoon of fun with her 19-month-old son Arthur at a park in Los Angeles on Wednesday.

The mother-son duo were the picture of delight as they streaked down a jungle gym slide at top speeds, landing in a pile of sand at the bottom.

The 40-year old actress appeared even more excited than her son and was positively beaming as she carried the youngster around the playground.

Selma was dressed in casual attire for the day of fun and games.

Adorning her petite feet were a pair of strappy sandals, which brought attention to her smooth well-toned legs.

Keeping cool in the Los Angeles desert temperatures, the Anger Management star wore black shorts and a delicate illustrated white shirt.

But the mother-of-two seems to have no qualms about cashing in on her daughter's fame.
She even told In Touch that she thinks Honey Boo Boo, her Isabella's former Toddlers and Tiaras co-star, should take advantage of her stardom, too.
'I know her mom, June, wants to keep her grounded,' she said. 'But... it's time to jump on the money train.'
Mrs Barrett explained that she and her daughter have always planned to use beauty pageants as a stepping stone for other projects.
'It helped us pave the path to where we are now,' she explained.

Though the show was no doubt the catalyst of her newfound fame, Mrs Barrett criticized it for its 'completely wrong' portrayal of child beauty stars.

The Barrett family are no strangers to controversy though.

In one episode of the show, little Isabella accused her fellow junior beauty queen Paisley Dickey, three, of dressing like a 'hooker'.

He was dissed by Kanye West when the rapper recently took to the stage in London to perform his hit song Clique.
And it seems that Justin Timberlake returned the favour when he performed on Saturday Night Live on Saturday night.
The 32-year-old singer appeared to be responding to Kanye's swipe, which featured in a 10-minute onstage intro to Clique during a live performance in the British capital last month.
